Hmm.
Well don’t I feel like a jerk.
My last post was April of 2020.
Now, if you believe the news, you might think that I haven’t posted since April 2020 because I was a victim of the “deadly” virus that everyone has been talking about since that time.
But obviously that’s not true.
I don’t know why I fell off. Probably related to work.
What’s interesting is that part of the reason for my last false start was that I needed to get in better shape and lose some weight in order to become a chaplain in the Army Reserve.
And now I am.
But along with that comes the need for continuing to keep within weight and fitness standards.
Which I am not.
I was also planning to go back to training clients at my local Anytime Fitness, right after I came home from my vacation n 2020…
But then gyms were closed for a long time.
However, I’m back at that now too.
Some other things have changed as well.
I was coming at life from a “red pill” perspective, as you can see from some of my old posts, but I’ve changed that in a lot of ways.
There are red pill things that are beneficial, particularly when it comes to the world at large.
But in order to really change things, I don’t think there is any answer other than God.
Get your life right with God, and you’ll be prepared to face whatever the world can throw at you.
Live the way you’re supposed to, and political manipulations won’t affect you (or the effect will be diminished).
Stop trying to solve spiritual problems with non-spiritual solutions.
I’m not trying to sell anything, but I will post affiliate links here for stuff I use and believe in.
I also have a deal with Emerson/Wellevate that allows me to sell supplements (like the vitamin kind in this case) at a discount to you.
But otherwise, I’m just trying to document my journey.
I’m 42 as of this writing, and I’m not in the worst shape of my life, but I’m greatly dissatisfied with where I am.
I’ve come all the way back around on the importance of cardiovascular health (because I’m getting older).
Not at the expense of muscle building, though. That’s a HORRIBLE mistake to make.
I’m going to start experimenting with different programming involving lifting and running.
I want to be an athlete.
That’s not to say that powerlifters and bodybuilders aren’t athletes, they absolutely are. But that extreme is not where I want to go.
Another thing that has taken on tremendous importance to me in light of the events of 2020 (and still continuing today) is natural health.
I’ll share some stuff that you can do outside the gym to maintain your health as well.
And I still like bodybuilding type supplements, like preworkouts and stuff.
I’ll talk about that too!
But that’s enough for now.
Thank you for reading, and if you’re leftover from when I was writing before…
Thank you especially.
Reach out, email me, leave a comment, whatever.
I love to hear from you.
Talk soon.
